To have an effective organization that have a high performance, the overall organisation design must be aligned with the business strategy and the market environment in which the business operates no matter what strategy the organisation pursues. The structure, however, must support it to be successful. It must also have the right business controls, the right flexibility, the right incentives, the right staff and the right resources.
